It is an improvement on it’s predecessors which were not as developed in their code as this game seems to be. The infection spreads as you expect it to and the AI is much smarter than in the majority of flash-based affairs these days. The art is simplistic, but very keen to the eye and charming to the mechanics of the gameplay. Depending on which city you are in, the citizens (and soon to be infected) will walk about aimlessly spouting tongue-in-cheek stereotypes based on the country they reside within.

The humor gets old, of course, after you play a few rounds in the same area, but the addicting gameplay is what will really keep you invested until the very end of this venture. To conclude this review, I would say that if you have previously enjoyed the Infectionator series, or if you have enjoyed any flash-based power-up games, or if you just love silly pixelated animation: try out Infectionator 2, it was the most fun I’ve had with a flash game in a long time.

Of course, when the health bar falls to 0, the player dies. When the special bar falls to 0, the player’s ability to control the character’s more powerful attacks suddenly is disabled. Killing enemies can lead to more coins and more perks that replenish a player’s health and special bars. The player can move the character with the non-standard WAD keys. The W key allows the player’s character to jump. The A key makes the character go left. The D key makes the character go right. Tapping the A key in rapid succession gets the character to sprint to the right. Tapping the D key in rapid succession gets the character to sprint to the right. The J key allows a player to hit while the K key allows a player to hit more harshly but at a slower pace. Pressing the J key and the K key simultaneously gives a powerful combination that deals a lot of damage. The L key allows a player to pick up or throw aside a weapon.

A weapon increases the player’s ability to attack. Even though the limitations of a Flash game have to be admitted, this game strikes me as quite poor compared to more fleshed out arcade/action games. For that reason I give it a 2 out of 5. The game’s simplest test of worth is how addictive it is. Stickman loses its appeal for me within a matter of 10 minutes. The graphics are mediocre. The music is mundane. But most importantly, I am not hungry for more gameplay. I aimlessly drifted away in search of a more interesting game after giving this game a go.

The game begins with you being appointed for a premium because there is a shortage of miners ready to work in Mars. The theme is quite refreshing. Anyone would get hooked on to it easily within no time. You can control the pod with the arrow keys. You have to move the pod to the diggable areas with the control keys and the pod automatically digs the area. You run on fuel and got to refill it too for the cash you made. But if the fuel gets empty, the machine blasts. However, you can upgrade your fuel tank. Overall the gameplay is very good but only concern is that if you get stuck in the ground and you can’t reach a fuel station. But the good news is that there is an Upgrade Shop so you can upgrade different parts of your pod like the hull, fuel tank, drill, engine, radiator and the cargo bay. When I played, I failed most of the times due to the fuel running low issue.

The fuel gets exhausted quickly. Other than that, I enjoyed playing it. Unlike most of the flash games, you can save your game progress with opening an account with the XGen Studios. and submit your high scores for the world to see. The game loads up fast and the overall game play is smooth too. Comparing to other flash games, the graphics isn’t much good to write home about. Kind of like a retro, but better than that. To sum up, MotherLoad is a good time killer with all the fun of a flash game. On a scale of a 1-5, I would give it a 4.

The art conveys the decay and rot of the town your character finds himself in after being swept up by a tornado. It soon becomes clear that your arrival at this town, Red Hill, was expected, and that something terrifying is about to happen. Your task is to escape from Red Hill before Aurora, the title character, arrives. Unfortunately, the next train is in a month, and there seems to be no other way out. Quite who Aurora is is never fully explained, although the main character is made aware that wherever she goes, death seems to follow . Like most point-and-click adventure games, this one involves exploring a landscape, collecting objects, and using the objects to solve problems.

In one case, you encounter a sheriff’s office, abandoned with the exception of a prisoner in a cell. In order to free the prisoner (so that he can give you information), you must use items in your possession to make a bomb. In another case, you find a piano roll, which, when inserted into a pianola, causes a new character to emerge. This style of gameplay is fun and engaging, and generally works well here, although none of the puzzles are very hard. This game, though well executed and with a decent plot, ultimately left me feeling short-changed. For one thing, the game seemed way too short.

I also felt that the game took itself a little too seriously, unlike the classics of the point-and-click genre, such as Monkey Island. Overall, mine is a mixed verdict; on one hand, I liked that art and the basic story, on the other, it was too short, and too many questions were left unanswered. On this basis, it deserves 3/5.

This is where the timed aspect of the game first came into play for me. Although the first step was timed, this is where it became actually important. In order to separate the rings, I had to trace a circle around the onion. I am not a very good circle drawer in real life, much less on the computer using a trackpad in place of a real mouse. The first time I played this step the timer ran out on me and I had to start over. This is where I first started really having fun. The next step was to mix the stuff you would put the onions in. This was a very simple, easy step. Next was to roll the onions in the batter.

At first I was a bit confused as to how to do that, so I ran out of time the first couple of times that I played that step. When I eventually figured it out it was an easy step to complete. Next was to put the onion rings on the stove to fry. The game got more interesting here, as there was both an overall timed aspect to it as well as the timing of the frying of the onions. It was a fun step, and though I know it’s a bit silly, I kept thinking that I was going to burn myself trying to get the onions out of the oil. The final stage of the game was to arrange the fried onion rings on a plate in whatever configuration you wanted.

This was not timed, and a great way to encourage creativity. The only aspect of the game that I didn’t like was that it was targeted almost exclusively to girls. This is presumably because it’s a cooking game. I am fairly sure that boys also play flash cooking games on kongregate.com, and I think they’d enjoy “Fried Little Onion Ring” too. I give “Fried Little Onion Ring” a 4 out of 5.

I was expecting to be making a reasonably attractive boy more attractive through the application of gauche 60′s style rings and deely boppers. Instead, I found something terribly unflattering and half-hearted. After being blasted with the load up screen featuring the producing animation studio, I’m given a quick rundown of how to operate the game. A meagre six categories of clothing, with a rather reserved amount of items within each (seven to be exact). Three sliders at the bottom of random feminine symbols: a heart, a five-pointed star, and a diamond (jewel cut, not the geometric shape). Each of these three symbols controls the colour for each particular item in different areas.

I like being able to customize but a palette would have been a much more friendly choice rather than having to randomly slide through the rainbow. The most irritating thing of all for me in this game was that other than the androgynous guy’s hair, there was no way to change his physical features. Say I wanted to dress up a guy that was more solid than lanky? Maybe I don’t want him to smile so hard? These eyebrows look really stupid, can I change them? No, wait. I take it back. The most irritating part is that after I decide I don’t want to wear any particular item, there’s no way to remove it. Talk about a bug that went underneath the radar!

At a close third in the way of my complaints is the 90′s midi synthesizer soundtrack of one song that belongs in an x-rated film. I’m just playing a dress-up game. There’s no reason to get jazzy with it. It makes me think you’d trying to build up for something terribly dramatic, and we both know that it’s not going to come to that. Are we really still making games that lack a “music off” button? I give this game a solid 2. Did not enjoy playing it at all, the only reason it gets a two is because it included the bare minimum of features to avoid making it unconvincing to try at all.

The next time that you decide you would like to play the game it picks up with the last game that you played. One thing that is exciting about this game is that it is a time management game. You have a certain amount of time before the doors close and no more customers are accepted. Once the doors close you have to complete all orders that you have taken. Also, there is a time limit on how long you have to blend the milkshakes.

If you blend the milkshakes too long then you will upset the customer.

The character is a simple stick avatar that runs through different obstacle courses and stages with a variety of backgrounds from the starter village to a dessert to forest and even mountains. This game sounds like your chicle game, but it has a few excitements that make it worth playing. The game board is a hexagonal shaped spinning board with an assortment of coloured balls. Affixed on the top of the game screen is a ball shooter which is where the balls are launched to blow them from the spinning board. This ball launcher launches one ball at a time to wherever it is aimed at on the screen. If it is placed somewhere, connected to at least 2 of the same colour then the balls are blasted away. Also, depending on the direction that the ball is launched, the hexagonal game board will spin wherever the forced of the launched ball points it to. When all of the balls are blasted away from the spinner, a new game board similar to the previous one is created. However, here in level 2, or 2x, there are more colours that have been added to the game board making it more difficult to blast away 3 of the same colour balls next to each other.

There is skill needed in this game, not to be able to recognize three balls of the same colour together, no. Skill comes in when angles are brought into play. Since the game is a spinning hexagon enclosed on a rectangular larger board, it is sometimes necessary to make bank shots off of the wall in order to reach bubbles on the lower side of the screen. I use the game avidly and would rate it around a 4.7 which is not far from the averaged 4.5 stars from some 50,000 people.

I highly enjoy the game and use it to pass the time, which it is extremely helpful and exciting for. I recommend it to friends and have even posted it on faceBook.

By clicking on a scampering puppy with the mouse, a leash is attached to their neck, and a swift tug in the opposite direction will keep the furry fellow from crossing paths with the bunny as he makes his way down the trail to meet up with his prize. The player must take extra care to make sure the timing of bunny’s journey is not interrupted by the dogs. Too many taps from the puppies, and it’s game over bunny. The player also must not accidentally drag the dogs by their leash into the pathway of the bunny, and also contend with the faster-moving, rebellious black dogs.

Occasionally the bunny will get a prize such as the whistle, which causes all but the black dogs to stop running and sit for a few moments. There are other bonuses along the way too, like the wings that allow bunny to fly safely over the park for a short time while still collecting carrots. Carrot Track is a very fun, enjoyable, easy to play, and pleasant game for all ages. The game tries hard to capture the basic pleasure of cute young animals playing in the park on a very nice day. The graphics feature simple animated animals on the bright green backdrop of a beautiful lawn. The music is almost like the sound of kids having fun at the park, a few acoustic guitars, xylophone, and harp jamming along with the sound of whistles and claps. This game is an instant way to brighten up any day and make it more closely resemble a carefree time frolicking in the park.
